Red Rock Resorts is preparing to open a new high-limit slots room and a multi-level parking garage at its Durango Casino & Resort in Las Vegas on December 15. The high-limit area will launch at 5 p.m. with 120 slot machines, including 30 new titles, plus a “Jackpot Express” system and a dedicated cash-out cage designed for faster payouts.
Opening at 10 a.m., the parking structure will feature nearly 2,000 covered spaces and offer free parking for guests. This construction is part of a $120 million first expansion phase for Durango, marking its first major upgrade since the resort opened in December 2023.
Durango’s general manager said that the high-limit slots room is built to deliver both convenience and premium service for serious gamblers. It’s designed to appeal to high-stakes slot players by combining a focused, elevated gaming environment with easy access to parking.
Red Rock also plans a second expansion phase, investing $385 million to add more than 275,000 square feet to the resort. This next stage will bring around 400 additional slot machines, a 36-lane bowling alley, luxury movie theaters, new dining options, and entertainment venues.
Executives say the high-limit slots room will be among the largest dedicated high-limit spaces in Las Vegas, underlining Red Rock’s strategy to attract and retain high-stakes slot players in its portfolio.
