Wazdan has officially reached its 15th anniversary in the iGaming industry, marking over a decade of growth and expansion within the global digital gambling sector. The company, which launched in 2010, has evolved from a small Malta-based developer into a prominent international software provider with a presence in more than 30 regulated markets.
Over the last 15 years, Wazdan has built a diverse portfolio that now includes more than 200 slot titles. The developer has become known for its focus on mathematical balance and technical consistency, specifically tailoring its products to meet the requirements of regulated environments in Europe, North America, and Asia. This commitment to compliance has earned the company over 15 regional permits, including licenses from the United Kingdom Gambling Commission and the Malta Gaming Authority.
A significant shift in the company history occurred in 2015 when it fully transitioned to HTML5 technology. This move allowed the studio to prioritize mobile-first development, ensuring that its games functioned across various platforms without sacrificing performance. Today, the business employs a workforce of more than 250 people and maintains partnerships with over 2,500 operators worldwide.
The provider has established several recognizable franchises during its tenure, most notably the Coins series and the Mighty Wild collection. These titles often feature signature mechanics such as adjustable volatility levels and ultra-fast mode, which allow players to customize their gameplay experience. According to company leadership, these innovations have been central to maintaining player engagement and supporting the commercial goals of their business partners.
As Wazdan enters its 16th year, the company is focusing on a steady release schedule, aiming to deliver approximately 40 new games annually. Recent roadmaps indicate a continued push into emerging markets in North and Latin America. The studio also continues to invest in promotional tools like the Mystery Drop and Jackpot Rain features to support operator performance.
Chief Executive Officer Michal Imiolek noted that the milestone reflects the value of a long-term approach to game development. He stated that the company remains dedicated to its founding principles of predictability and dependable performance. As the industry continues to navigate complex regulatory changes, Wazdan intends to leverage its established reputation for stability to secure further growth in the coming years.
