Circus Circus Las Vegas has announced a significant expansion of its gaming floor, emphasizing a return to traditional gambling experiences. The property, known for its family friendly atmosphere and long standing history on the Strip, is launching a new bingo hall and an expanded section for coin operated slot machines. These additions are part of a broader property renovation aimed at capturing the vintage aesthetic of classic Las Vegas.
The new bingo hall is located on the Promenade level and officially opened in February 2026. It marks the first time in over a decade that a major resort on the Strip has hosted live bingo, a move that differentiates the property from its high tech competitors. The venue is designed to accommodate 255 players per session and offers a traditional experience using paper cards and ink daubers rather than digital tablets. Sessions are held multiple times daily, featuring various game formats with cash prizes ranging from 50 dollars to 1,500 dollars.
Complementing the bingo hall is a dedicated area for coin operated slot machines scheduled to debut in March 2026. While most modern casinos have transitioned to ticket in ticket out systems, Circus Circus has seen success by maintaining and expanding its collection of mechanical reel machines that accept and dispense physical tokens. This expansion builds upon the popularity of the nearby Slots A Fun casino, which currently serves as a hub for slot machines that accept coins on the Las Vegas Strip.
Management indicates that the decision to lean into analog gaming like Coin Operated slot machines is a response to guest demand for nostalgic and affordable entertainment. By providing the sounds of physical coins hitting metal trays and the tactile nature of paper bingo, the resort aims to attract both long time visitors and a younger generation interested in retro experiences.
The renovation project also includes aesthetic updates such as new carpeting and interior paint across the gaming floor, as well as enhancements to various food outlets. A new concession stand near the bingo hall offers budget friendly snacks including hot dogs, pretzels, and nachos to match the old school theme. These changes represent a strategic shift for Circus Circus as it positions itself as a value driven alternative to the increasingly digitized and premium focused developments found elsewhere in the city.
