International Game Technology (IGT) has officially rolled out its new Wheel of Fortune Video Poker game, making its global debut at the Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino in the heart of Las Vegas. This innovative release marks the first time players anywhere in the world can experience IGT’s signature multi-hand video poker enhanced with the excitement of the Wheel of Fortune brand.
The game blends the iconic elements of the long-running television franchise—such as puzzle-solving game play and the signature ‘Wheel Bonus’—with the strategic thrill of video poker. Available in triple-play, five-play, and ten-play formats, the game offers high-reward potential, with payouts of up to 100,000 credits for a dealt royal flush in ten-play mode.
IGT chose to deliver this new game on their CrystalCurve cabinet. The multi-hand video poker game is offered in triple-play, five-play, and ten-play configurations, with the potential to award players 30,000, 50,000, or 100,000 credits, respectively, for landing a dealt royal flush.
Slots Manager at the Downtown Grand Las Vegas, Rick Coltor, stated that it’s exciting to be the first casino in the world to offer IGT’s Wheel of Fortune Video Poker. He added that players have enjoyed IGT video poker and Wheel of Fortune slots for decades, and that “…combining the DNA of those two products to create something new is an exciting proposition for our players.”
Since its initial launch on March 7, the game has expanded to several other casinos across Las Vegas, with plans underway to bring the title to additional markets in the near future.
